Add yourself, or correct a listing

This directory grows by word of mouth. If you teach or perform Kathak in the Lower Mainland, send us an email. If your entry needs a correction, send us an email.

What to include for a listing

Send these details:

• Your name, and your stage name when it is different.
• Your neighborhood or city, for example Surrey, Burnaby, or Coquitlam.
• Your website, when you have one.
• Your Instagram handle, when it is public.
• Whether you teach, and the neighborhoods or studios where you teach.
• A short description of 3 to 5 sentences. Cover your training, your style, and what you offer.
• A link to a public photo that we can use. This item is optional.

What to include for an event

We list performances, workshops, and intensives in the Lower Mainland. Send these details:

• The event title
• The date, and the end date for a multi-day event
• The start time
• The venue and the neighborhood
• The presenter
• The ticket link, or the information link
• The price, or the word “Free”
• A short description of 2 to 3 sentences

An event leaves the homepage on the day after it finishes.

We add or correct your listing in a few days. To remove a listing, reply to the same address. We ask no questions.

• Listings are free. This site shows no advertisements, and it takes no payment.
• We list only public contact channels. We never list home addresses or personal phone numbers.
• This is a curated directory, and not a marketplace. We list any Kathak artist or teacher who practices in the Lower Mainland.
