Sāmrasya: Palak Dhiman (The Salon Series)
Vancouver Kathak artist Palak Dhiman performs a solo recital with live Hindustani music, tracing a single raga through three compositions drawn from the Dhrupad and Khayal traditions. She is joined by Sunny Matharu on tabla, Akhil Jobanputra on vocals, and Pavittar Singh Namdhari on esraj. This is part two of the Indian Classical Music Society of Vancouver’s three-part Salon Series.
